The Cappies (http://www.cappies.com), “Critics and Awards Program” recognizes and honors high-achieving high school
theater students from 60 schools in the Washington metropolitan area. Thirty-five awards were presented at the 10th Anniversary
Gala at the Kennedy Center this year.
A special award was added this year to recognize Excella for upgrading the Cappies Information Services (CIS). CIS supports the program’s operations,
especially voting. Excella completed this work on a pro bono basis and was honored to be recognized with this award. Excella shared the award with Microsoft,
who partnered with Excella to upgrade CIS.
